The Unsettling Knot is an inquiry into the looming question of “what’s next?” as society wades through the evolving trajectory and intermingling of possibilities presented to us by the outbreak of covid-19. The work develops from an interpretation of the coronavirus RNA sequence as it is allowed to mutate through a combination of stochastic and chaotic processes. With each moment, The Unsettling Knot positions itself between an uncertain future and the myriad approaches undertaken by communities to find a way forward.
